About the role
We are seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your pharmacy education in a real-world setting, enhancing your skills and preparing you for a career as a Pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
- Support pharmacy teams in ensuring smooth operations and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Provide empathetic and caring service to patients
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive workplace culture
- Support management, oversight, and operations within the pharmacy
- Support additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing
- Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles
Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Attention and focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
- Customer service and team orientation: actively looking for ways to help people and responding appropriately
- Communication skills: using and understanding verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
- Problem resolution: identifying challenging patient or colleague interactions and choosing the best course of action
- Physical demands: be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time, lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally
Qualifications
- Ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pharmacy workflow procedures

The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour.
Schedule
