Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced retail environment while learning from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and care
• Assist with immunizations and other patient health care services
• Support pharmacists and technicians in managing and improving patient health
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Attention and focus: ability to concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly
• Customer service and team orientation: actively looking for ways to help people
• Communication skills: using and understanding verbal and written communication
• Problem resolution: identifying and resolving challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands: mobility, remaining upright for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $25.00 - $42.00 per hour.
