About the role
We are seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice, preparing you for a Pharmacist role.
Responsibilities
- Apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
- Support the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and accurate dispensing
- Provide empathetic and caring service to patients, including offering vaccinations and other services
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
- Take on greater accountability for supporting management, oversight, and operations within the pharmacy
- Support additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing
Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Attention and focus: Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
- Communication skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
- Problem resolution: Identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose the best course of action
- Physical demands: Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Mathematical reasoning: Ability to use math to solve a problem, such as determining the total number of tablets to dispense
Qualifications

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour.
Schedule
