Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school in a real-world setting, supporting our pharmacy teams and preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy team operations, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic and caring service to patients, including offering vaccinations and other services
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by interacting with patients at various touchpoints
• Take on greater accountability as tenure and readiness increase, managing pharmacy operations and supporting team dynamics
• Support additional patient health care services, such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic staffing

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and across the market in other locations
• Attention to detail and focus on tasks
• Effective communication skills
• Basic mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Physical demands suitable for extended periods of standing, lifting, and reaching

Qualifications

• Ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations
• Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
