Grad Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and patient safety
• Operate as part of the pharmacy team, adhering to SOPs and best practices
• Provide empathetic and caring service to patients, offering vaccinations and other services
• Take on greater accountability as tenure increases, managing and improving patient health
• Support immunizations, including vaccine preparation and administration, patient education, and adverse reaction monitoring

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over a period of time
• Active listening to give full attention to what others are saying and respond appropriately
• Mathematical reasoning to determine the total number of tablets to dispense and day's supply
• Problem resolution to identify and choose the best course of action for challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in home store and across the market to meet business needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
