BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers government-compliant back-office solutions to support teaming partners within the GovCon space. We are working with Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE) to find their next highly skilled GPS Modernization Engineer.

About DSE

DSE, Inc. is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to engineering, training, and program management that enables front-line soldiers, sailors, and Marines to fully exploit the tactical capabilities of aviation and maritime platforms. DSE accomplishes this by using the most qualified employees and keeping abreast of every new capability in aviation, maritime technologies, and simulation/training technology as it emerges. The company fosters a work environment that supports ingenuity and cares for each team member, constantly expanding its expertise while developing employees to their fullest potential.

About the Role

The GPS Modernization Engineer supports the AIR PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) team within the Air Combat Electronics program office at NAVAIR (PMA-209), the Navy's executive agent for common avionics and foundational warfighting capabilities. You will provide navigation engineering support for the integration and sustainment of EGI and GPS receivers, including MAGR-2K, LN-100/251/300/351, and ANAV-3M/M, across a broad range of naval aviation platforms such as the E-2D, F/A-18, C-130J, MQ-4C, H-1/60, CH-53K, MV-22, P-8A, and E-6B.

This role is central to one of the Department of Defense's highest-priority modernization efforts: transitioning the fleet to M-code GPS to deliver assured, jam- and spoof-resistant navigation in GPS-contested and GPS-denied environments. It offers a rare opportunity to work hands-on across the naval aviation enterprise on capabilities that directly affect mission readiness for the warfighter.

Why DSE

DSE rewards your experience from day one. Its PTO program is experience-based rather than tenure-based, meaning your prior relevant industry experience can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation immediately, unlike most employers that only reward tenure earned after joining.

  • Contribute to the transition to M-code GPS capability, supporting assured PNT performance in contested and denied environments
  • Review and prepare engineering and technical documentation, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), CDRLs, technical white papers, and platform integration plans
  • Support system requirements analysis, design evaluation, and verification activities across the navigation systems lifecycle
