Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute government affairs strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and influence legislative and regulatory developments.
  • Advise stakeholders on policy risks, opportunities, and business impacts.
  • Build relationships with policymakers, regulatory agencies, industry associations, and coalition partners.
  • Represent Lutron in legislative, regulatory, and industry forums.
  • Develop policy materials, including briefing papers, comment letters, and testimony.
  • Identify opportunities related to trade policy, public procurement, grants, and incentives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align advocacy efforts with business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, legislative affairs, or regulatory affairs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% as business needs require.
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of global governance, international institutions, and foreign political processes.
  • Proven success in advocating for policy positions and achieving desired outcomes in complex environments.

About the Role

Lutron is seeking an influential Government Relations Manager out of our Conshohocken, PA office location. In this role, you will drive Lutron's government affairs engagement across the Western Hemisphere, with a primary focus on the United States and support for Canada, Mexico, and select Latin American markets. As a strategic advisor to business leaders, you will identify policy risks and opportunities, assess business impacts, and develop proactive engagement strategies that support Lutron's long-term objectives. Working across state, federal, and international government affairs, you will build relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders while representing Lutron's interests on issues impacting our business, operations, and future growth.
