Government Relations Director

About the role

Solutions Sustainability is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Data Center Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Manage energy consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve sustainability
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and improve performance
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center management or similar role
• Experience with data center infrastructure, including cooling systems, power distribution, and network equipment
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with data center automation tools and software
• Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
• Understanding of green data center design principles

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
