Government Reimbursement Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support Medicare / Medicaid / Tricare cost report fillings, including schedules and documentation
• Aid with audits, surveys, and appeals by compiling workpapers and responding to requests
• Analyze MAC (Medicare Administrative Contractor) communications and reimbursement rates for accuracy / compliance
• Support monthly reserve calculations and ensure receipt of third-party payments and adjustments
• Review Medicare bad debt and disproportionate share (DHS) logs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 5+ years of relevant Government Reimbursement experience

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
