About the role
The Government Property Manager oversees all aspects of property management for a municipal department. This includes maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and ensuring compliance with city regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage municipal properties to ensure they are safe and in good condition.
- Oversee daily operations including cleaning, landscaping, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with city regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance work.
- Manage tenant relations and lease agreements.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to the department head.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property management or municipal administration.
- Experience managing multiple properties and teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Property management software proficiency (e.g., CPM, Proserv).
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
