Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters involving government contracts, including:
- Bid protests
- Contract claims and performance disputes
- Terminations (default and convenience)
- Provide counsel on federal regulatory compliance and contracting requirements
- Advise on and assist with matters involving:
- False Claims Act issues
- Organizational conflicts of interest (OCI)
- Procurement integrity and ethics regulations
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and case strategy analysis
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups as needed
- Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in government contracts
- Active bar admission in at least one of the following: District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, California
- Strong academic background
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
Billable Expectations
- 1,800 annual billable hours
- 200 non-billable hours required
- Credit toward billable target includes:
- Up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work
- Up to 25 hours of approved diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

$195,000 - $210,000 per year
