About the role
The Government Contract Accounting Manager will help build and lead Boldt’s capabilities in federal contracting. This role partners across finance, operations, and leadership to support contract execution and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Establish the foundation for government accounting, compliance, and reporting across a growing portfolio of projects.
- Partner with finance, operations, and leadership to support contract execution and ensure compliance.
- Interfacing with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) as needed.
- Identify and improve systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or operations management.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in government contracting, including pre-award and post-award contract management.
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) designation preferred.
- Working knowledge of FAR and CAS, including experience with Incurred Cost Proposals/Submissions (ICP/ICS), Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRA), and certified cost or pricing data requirements.
- Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) preferred.

- Demonstrated experience in identifying and improving systems and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to quickly build trust and develop positive relationships with co-workers, government officials, vendors, and customers.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to independently develop and execute plans with a high level of detail, precision, and follow-through.
Skills

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,000 - $146,000 (negotiable) annually.
