This is a high growth, high visibility area with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset and build your career.

We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to support a DOD client in the design, development, and deployment of data analytics, business intelligence, workflow automation, and low-code application solutions. This individual will work directly with the client and civilian government stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable analytics, dashboards, and mission-support applications that improve operational effectiveness, transparency, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines technical development skills with strong consulting capabilities and can work independently with clients to understand business challenges, design solutions, develop prototypes, and deliver production-ready capabilities using Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. This position supports a growing portfolio of work focused on operational analytics, enterprise reporting, workflow modernization, AI-enabled tools, and Power Platform-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data science and big data solutions that unify, enrich, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and executive visualizations using Power BI and related analytics platforms.
  • Transform raw, incomplete, and decentralized datasets into actionable information products that support leadership decision-making.
  • Develop KPI frameworks, metric definitions, data dictionaries, and reporting solutions.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, root causes, operational insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support data-informed decision-making initiatives through quantitative analysis and visualization.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Develop automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Configure and maintain Dataverse environments and related data models.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces that enable field personnel and leadership to access information efficiently.
  • Support application enhancement, user feedback incorporation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate working sessions, requirements workshops, and demonstrations.
  • Develop prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to accelerate user feedback and adoption.
  • Document solution architectures, business rules, process flows, and technical requirements.
  • Develop executive-ready briefings and decision-support materials.
  • Present analytical findings and application demonstrations to government leadership.
  • Support multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Coordinate with data engineers, business analysts, performance improvement specialists, and government stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree.

  • Must be comfortable working in-person as needed.
  • Experience developing dashboards and analytical products using Power BI or similar visualization platforms.
  • Experience building applications using Microsoft Power Apps and workflow solutions using Power Automate.
  • Experience integrating data from SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Excel, SQL, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions, Copilot, GenAI, or intelligent automation capabilities.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets, data integration, and reporting environments.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with various big data technologies in one or more ecosystems (Hadoop, AWS or Microsoft).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or Azure Analytics solutions.
