About the role

Maintain an understanding of government contracts.
Determine and prepare the appropriate "Grainger Value Proposition" to each account and review how Grainger can add value and help with each account's purchasing needs.
Create a territory plan that optimizes call routes, maximizes time in the field and ensure you are building a sales plan that meets shared performance targets.
Maintain account and customer contact and record follow up details in Grainger's CRM (Salesforce).
Grow sales with each account while using a wide array of available communication channels to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A high school diploma/GED
  • An associate's degree or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • No prior sales or relationship building experience
  • Ability to travel out in the field with customers four to five days a week and have occasional overnights (dependent on territory)
  • A valid driver's license

Pay

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $47,200.00 – $70,800.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to % or $ $20,300.00, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.
