Governance & Volunteer Support Manager
About the role
Girlguiding Ulster is undergoing significant organisational change to enhance governance and ensure long-term sustainability. This role will be pivotal in implementing these changes, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and supporting volunteer-led guiding across Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Embedding new governance arrangements
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
- Providing high-quality support to volunteers leading guiding activities
- Working with volunteers to support membership growth and development
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in organisational change management
- Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with volunteers and staff
- Experience in supporting membership growth and development
Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.

Pay
The salary range for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Schedule
The role is based in-person at Lorne Estate Outdoor Adventure Centre, 30 Station Road, Holywood, BT18 0BP.
