Gourmet To Go Associate Part Time

Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, price, and label prepared foods products for customers.
• Assist customers with all orders and inquiries in person and on the phone, processing and completing orders and requests.
• Greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service and assistance.
• Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures, store rules, and standards of conduct.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and comply with company grooming and dress standards.
• Perform stocking and other duties as assigned based on sales volume and management direction.
• Maintain knowledge of the store layout and product offerings to assist customers effectively.
• Use knives, box cutters, slicers, bailers, floral cutters, etc., as needed in the department.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company guidelines and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.
• Comply with safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Notify management of any safety or equipment issues or violations.
• Properly handle, stock, prepare, and display all necessary products.
• Count, separate, and weigh all types of products.
• Aid in training associates when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have some weekend availability.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hours.
