The work you'll do
- Design, deploy, and manage GCP foundational components, including BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, and/or Cloud IAM.
- Execute large scale data migrations to GCP using industry best practices and migration tools (e.g., Migrate for Compute Engine).
- Implement secure cloud architectures that comply with federal cloud computing security requirements and Zero Trust principles.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot migration issues, and optimize costs.
Here's what you'll need
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years focused hands-on with Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven experience executing cloud migrations (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or refactoring).
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
Bonus points if you have
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification.
- Prior experience working on federal or DoD cloud migration projects.
Security clearance
Active Top Secret (TS) or Interim TS security clearance is required.
Pay
The base pay range for this position in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $100,200—$203,400 USD.
