About the Role
Join the elite technical and product engine of the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG). We are a practice of innovators and builders guiding our clients through the most significant shift in technology: the move to Agentic AI and Product-Led Operating Models. As a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Agentic AI Delivery Senior Engineer, you are a "product-minded engineer" fluent in both code and customer outcomes. You leverage the best of Google Cloud technologies to help clients break free from legacy solutions and build modern, value-driven software products.
You are a passionate, hands-on GCP Senior Engineer who understands that great software solves real problems using the best available tools. You are comfortable building multi-agent workflows on Vertex AI, testing solutions under tight timelines, and leveraging Google Cloud’s ecosystem. With a consultative mindset, you translate client business requirements into optimal technology solutions and evangelize modern, product-led engineering practices. You are an exceptional communicator, a great team player, a continuous learner, and a believer in continual change.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in technical discovery workshops to translate client business requirements into GCP technology design elements and customized solutions.
- Design, build, test, and deploy innovative, agentic-first solutions on GCP tied directly to client business outcomes.
- Rapidly design, build, and present compelling proof-of-concept (POC) solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini/Agentic AI, BigQuery, Google Data technologies, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Act as an agile SME/coach on modern software development, guiding delivery teams on Product Agile Operating Model principles and structuring sprints for continuous delivery using Google Cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with global teams, leveraging collaborative tools for project delivery and status reporting. Travel may be required (0–100% depending on business need and client requirements).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, minimum 6 years work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hands-on, client-facing technology role (e.g., Google Cloud Engineer, Product Engineer, Technology Consultant).
- Minimum of 5 years of deep, hands-on experience architecting and building solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP, with at least 4 years in GCP.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with globally distributed project teams.
- Well-versed in project management and product/project testing methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience on Google Cloud technologies or minimum of 1 year of implementation experience on Agentic systems (e.g., Google Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Azure Foundry, Microsoft Co-Pilot, AWS Bedrock).

- Product & Agile Mindset: Hands-on experience working within a Product Operating Model; practical experience delivering agile projects and contributing to sprint-based deliverables.
- Consulting & Innovation Acumen: Experience in client-facing innovation workshops, converting ideas into outcome-focused solutions; world-class communication skills to articulate project status and challenges.
- Agentic AI & Software Product Engineering: Proven experience architecting and building agentic workflows using Vertex AI; deep understanding of agentic components (reasoning engines, planning, tool use, RAG); hands-on expertise with Google’s Gemini models; commitment to software engineering best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, secure/scalable products).
- Technical Depth: Multiple Google Cloud Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Data Engineer, GenAI Leader); project experience across GCP ecosystem (GKE, BigQuery, Vertex AI, CES, Apigee, etc.).
Pay
Compensation varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience. Below are the annual salary ranges for this role by location:
- California: $94,400 to $266,300
- Cleveland: $87,400 to $213,000
- Colorado: $94,400 to $230,000
- District of Columbia: $100,500 to $245,000
- Illinois: $87,400 to $230,000
- Maine: $80,400 to $196,000
- Maryland: $94,400 to $230,000
- Massachusetts: $94,400 to $245,000
- Minnesota: $94,400 to $230,000
- New York: $87,400 to $266,300
- New Jersey: $100,500 to $266,300
- Virginia: $87,400 to $245,000
