Golf Shop Attendant

Love golf and connecting with people? Join our team as a Golf Shop Attendant and help create a welcoming, first-class experience for every guest who walks through the door. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of the pro shop—greeting patrons, assisting with purchases and reservations, answering questions, and helping golfers get ready for a great day on the course.

Responsibilities

• Works in the Golf Pro Shop, stocks shelves with products, cashes registers, collects money, assists customers with product questions, sales of food and beverages, and t-shirt management.
• Picks up balls on the driving range, cleans golf carts, and other assorted tasks as assigned by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge Of The Game Of Golf And Golf Products.
• Ability To:

• Perform Basic Mathematical Calculations;
• Operate A Cash Register And Calculate Change Quickly And Accurately;
• Work Extended Weekend Hours;
• Interact With The Public And Co-Workers In A Friendly And Professional Manner;

• Communicate Effectively In The English Language At A Level Necessary For Efficient Job Performance;
• Complete Assignments In A Timely Fashion;
• Understand And Comply With All Rules, Policies, And Regulations;
• Maintain Prompt And Regular Attendance;
• Perform All Essential And Marginal Functions As Assigned By An Authorized Employee, Supervisor And/or Manager With Or Without Reasonable Accommodation.

Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training

• Two Years' Experience At A Golf Course Pro Shop/ Front Desk.

Special Requirements

• Applicants Must Be Able To Pass City Of Boise Background Check Processes Which Includes A Criminal History Check And Reference Checks In Accordance With The City Of Boise Hiring Process Regulation.
