Golf Service Attendant
Responsibilities
- Provides sincere and courteous service to all members and guests.
- Affords assistance to members and guests with pre and post golf round needs.
- Handles golf bags to and from cars, bag racks and carts.
- Sets up for daily member play, regular tee times, groups & outings.
- Cleans carts, clubs and prepares golf supplies.
- Oversees presentation of driving range, chipping and putting areas.
- Maintains the bag drop, cart staging and storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Performs opening and closing procedure for the bag room & cart barn.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Golf Course Head Professional or Assistant Golf Professional.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Strong customer/guest orientation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable.
- Friendly personality and enjoyment of working with the public.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Knowledge or an understanding of the game of golf is a plus.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
