Golf Range Attendant

About the role

As a Golf Range Attendant at Wild Dunes Resort, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests at the practice facilities. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the driving range, ensuring ample supply of balls, and keeping the area clean and organized. Additionally, you will aid golfers, including club cleaning, equipment rentals, and offering tips for improving their game.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee the daily operation of the golf driving range, including setting up and closing down the range, ensuring the availability of golf balls, and maintaining equipment.
• Manage the rental and return of golf clubs, ensuring they are clean, in good condition, and readily available for guests.
• Enforce safety guidelines and ensure that golfers adhere to range rules, including proper use of equipment and maintaining a safe distance from others.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the driving range, including picking up stray balls, emptying trash bins, and tidying up the hitting bays and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a golf course environment, particularly in a customer service role, is often preferred.
• Familiarity with golf equipment, terminology, and basic golf swing mechanics is beneficial.
• Additional education or training in hospitality, recreation management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Previous Hotel or Resort experience desired.
