Responsibilities

• Builds student base by creating safe environments for all Golfers, providing high-quality instruction, and building long-lasting relationships with each student.
• Consults with clients to identify strengths and weaknesses of swing/game, determines lesson goals, and acts as a Trusted Advisor.
• Seeks opportunities to develop self to become a better teacher, ensuring teaching concepts are tailored to students' understanding and adjusting teaching style to facilitate learning.
• Develops creative ways to build a robust student base, striving to meet and exceed financial and metric goals for the role.
• Engages in community outreach by partnering with local organizations to teach, support, and spread awareness of the Golf Galaxy experience.
• Leads local initiatives to promote services such as Fitting, Lessons, Club Tech, and specialized departments to create lasting relationships with Golfers.
• Collaborates with Certified Fitters and teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience, including interacting during fittings, offering advice on lesson plans, and sharing knowledge.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing, or Apprentice Level 1, 2, 3, or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through the Associate Program.
• 3+ years of knowledge in club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training.
• Trackman Level 1 & 2 certification.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for golf equipment and related technology.
• Desire for continued learning and teaching others.
• Stays current with industry trends.

Pay

Targeted pay range: $45,000.00 - $61,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as incentive, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by factors including experience, location, and internal pay equity.
