Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Create safe environments for all Golfers and provide high quality instruction.
• Build long-lasting relationships with each student by talking with clients to identify strengths and weaknesses of swing/game, and act as a Trusted Advisor for each respective student.
• Seek out information and opportunities to develop self to become a better teacher, ensuring teaching concepts are directed toward students' understanding and adjusting teaching style to best facilitate learning.
• Strive to meet and exceed financial and metric goals for the role by continuously finding new and creative ways to build a robust student base.
• Participate in community outreach by partnering with local organizations to teach, support, and spread awareness of the Golf Galaxy experience.
• Collaborate with Certified Fitters and teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience with each student, such as interacting with Fitters/Golfers during fittings, offering suggestions or advice on lesson plans, and sharing knowledge, experience, and expertise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years experience
• Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing
• 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training
• PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1, 2, 3, or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through our PGA/LPGA Associate Program
• Trackman Level 1 & 2
• Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for golf equipment & related technology
• Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others
