Golf Pro Shop Seasonal - Fall 2026
About the role
As a Seasonal Golf Pro Shop Attendant, you’ll be the welcoming face of Skyview Golf Course, helping golfers start and finish their rounds with a great experience. You’ll assist customers in the pro shop by checking in golfers, processing fees and merchandise sales, answering questions, and helping coordinate tee times and cart rentals. You’ll support daily golf course operations by maintaining a clean, organized pro shop, restocking merchandise, and communicating with golf course staff to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
This position involves working indoors and outdoors and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on course operations.
Responsibilities
- Check in golfers and process fees and merchandise sales
- Answer customer questions and provide friendly, professional service
- Coordinate tee times and cart rentals
- Maintain a clean and organized pro shop
- Restock merchandise and supplies
- Communicate with golf course staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle cash, operate a point-of-sale system, and perform basic math
- Follow established procedures, schedules, and policies
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
- Able to communicate clearly and positively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask during busy periods
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move items such as merchandise or supplies
Skills
- Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality (helpful but not required)
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling or tee-time software
- Knowledge of golf or interest in learning the game (helpful but not required)
Pay
Starting hourly wage: $15.00
Schedule
Approximately September - November (weather permitting), with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
