Golf: Outside Service

About the Role

Madden's, an award-winning resort located on over 1,000 acres, is seeking Outside Service positions for our summer 2025 season. We pride ourselves on gracious hospitality, quality, and diversity, offering guests a wide range of activities, including golf, dining, spa services, and water recreation. Join our team to help create memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Serve all guests with a "Can Do Attitude," ensuring a positive first impression.
• Assist guests with golf clubs, ensuring they never have to carry them from the parking lot.
• Manage the bag drop area, helping guests with golf clubs on and off the drop.
• Keep golf carts clean, organized, and stocked with essentials (towels, tees, pencils, scorecards, yardage cards).
• Stage carts neatly in the designated area.
• Maintain the driving range, ensuring it is stocked, picked, and clean.
• Keep the cart staging, starting area, and surrounding areas (clubhouse, parking lot, beverage station) clean and non-congested.
• Clean guests' clubs after their rounds.
• Uphold high customer service standards.
• Ensure regular and reliable attendance.

• Skill in establishing and maintaining relationships with guests and members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year of golf work experience preferred.

Work Environment

Work is performed outdoors on the golf course.

Physical Demands

• Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift golf bags repeatedly.

Schedule

Variable work schedule, including weekends.

Travel

Less than 10% travel required.
