As a Golf Greenskeeper, you will maintain the impeccable quality of two premier golf courses—Dogwood and Azalea—affiliated with the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, ensuring pristine playing conditions for our guests.
Dogwood is a meticulously maintained 7,104-yard, 18-hole, par 72 course winding through majestic pines, magnolias, and ancient oaks, while Azalea offers a par 72 challenge, ranging from 4,539 to 7,202 yards, providing a diverse challenge for golfers of all levels.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and power mowers to till, cultivate, grade, and mow the rough, fairway, green, and tee areas to ensure perfect playing conditions.
- Apply prescribed amounts of lime, fertilizer, insecticide, and fungicide to ensure the health and vibrancy of the turf.
- Set up hoses and sprinkler systems at designated points across the course to maintain adequate irrigation.
- Plant, trim, and spray trees and shrubs to maintain the overall aesthetics of the course.
- Engage in tasks such as digging, raking, and grading to prepare new greens and maintain traps and roadbeds.
- Use hand equipment such as weed eaters, edgers, and blowers to maintain a clean and well-manicured course.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
