Golf Course Superintendent, Raspberry Golf Management

About the role

The successful candidate will lead all agronomic and golf course maintenance operations at Augustine Golf Club, a championship facility in Stafford County, Virginia. They will deliver high quality playing conditions, manage budgets, plan capital improvements, and develop a skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality playing conditions

• Lead daily maintenance operations
• Manage warm-season Bermuda grass and Mid-Atlantic transition zone conditions

Requirements

• Minimum five years progressive golf course maintenance experience
• Minimum three years supervisory or management experience
• Strong experience managing warm-season Bermuda grass and Mid-Atlantic transition zone conditions
• Bachelor's Degree in Turf grass Management, Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticulture, or related field preferred
• GCSAA Class A Membership preferred
• Virginia Commercial Pesticide Applicator License required or ability to obtain immediately upon hire
• Experience with Rain Bird irrigation systems preferred
• Experience with GPS sprayer technology, irrigation management software, and maintenance management systems preferred
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) communication skills preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and organizational skills
