About the Role
This position is responsible for maintaining the golf course and club house grounds. All associates are expected to provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to all members and guests while demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities
- Learn and apply the company’s standard operating procedures.
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, raking, weeding, and divot repair of the golf course and outside common areas on club property.
- Restock supplies, replenish inventory, and products.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Greet members and guests throughout the property.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the property and its members.
- Be attentive, listen carefully to members, and follow through on requests.
- Communicate in a timely manner and follow up as required.
- Actively participate in events, programs, meetings, and training.
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow-through.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of landscaping experience.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Professional, friendly manner with excellent customer service attitude and abilities.
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently or with other staff.
- Attention to detail and alertness for safety precautions.
- Ability to safely operate manual and self-propelled golf course maintenance equipment.
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40-80 pounds.
- Ability to work on various surfaces and contours such as grass in all weather conditions.
- Ability for bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting throughout regular work duties.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members, guests, managers, and the public.
- Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and willing to acquire new skills.
- Well organized and detail-oriented with high cleanliness standards.
Schedule
Schedule varies and may require weekend, holiday, and evening hours. Additional hours will be required during aerification and other special projects.
Pay
Estimated base pay range: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour.
