Golf Course Maintenance

About the role

The Golf Course Maintenance position at Invited is responsible for a variety of tasks involved in maintaining and constructing golf courses. This includes operating various types of equipment, performing manual labor, and assisting in the construction of new features.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment for mowing golf courses, putting greens, aprons, tees, and rough.
• Operate edgers and trimmers.
• Grade and prepare soil plant beds, lay sod, plant, and pull weeds.
• Change cups and tee markers.
• Maintain ball washers, water hazards, and bunkers.
• Operate light equipment for hauling materials and removing debris.
• Trim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate shrubs and flowers.
• Assist in the construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil, and planting.

Requirements

• 1 year experience in landscaping maintenance.
• Able to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual (English - Spanish) communication ability preferred.
• Local candidates only as this position does not offer relocation.
• High school diploma and equivalent education.
