Goldrush - Underground Electrician

Responsibilities

• Report to the Underground Electrical Supervisor
• Troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment
• New electrical installations as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two (2) years underground electrical experience preferred
• High voltage experience preferred
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred
• Able to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required
• Able to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required

About The Team

Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world.
