Golang Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go programming, microservices architecture, and cloud-based environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, reliable, and secure applications.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang
• Build efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Develop RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services
• Participate in system architecture and design decisions
• Develop scalable and distributed systems
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Build and maintain microservices-based architecture
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
• Work with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Database Management
• Design and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL like PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Write efficient queries and ensure data integrity
• Optimize database performance
• Cloud & DevOps Collaboration
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
• Performance Optimization
• Monitor and improve application performance
• Identify bottlenecks and fix scalability issues
• Security & Best Practices
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Follow coding standards, version control, and documentation practices

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3–5 years in architecture/consulting roles
• Strong proficiency in Golang (Go)
• 3+ years Experience with REST APIs / gRPC
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with concurrency (goroutines, channels)
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
