YOUR ROLE
The GMP Cleaner I is responsible for maintaining a clean working environment that meets the standards of (GMP) Good Manufacturing Practices. This position will coordinate and perform all required daily, weekly and monthly cleanings in the manufacturing facility for rooms and critical equipment. Additional responsibilities include organizing storage areas, routine inventory of consumable items and re-stocking of supplies. This position is for first shift.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes GMP documentation including records and logbooks.
- Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the position.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the core operations equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Thorough area cleaning is required in all production areas on a daily basis.
- Cleaning walls, floors, table and counter tops
- Cleaning equipment and performing other miscellaneous duties as required
PROFILE
- Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment (regulated by GMP standards and requirements) or relevant cleaning experience of at least two years is preferred. GMP experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- A high attention to detail is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift operations is preferred.
