GMP Cleaner- 2nd Shift

About the role

The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Perform all cleaning assignments in accordance with C&W’s approved procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and notify management if repair or replacement is necessary.
• Maintain appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Work safely and promptly inform management about unsafe conditions in the work area.
• Wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.
• Meet all customer and C&W Services quality expectations in assigned tasks.
• Assist in orientation and training for new employees as directed.
• Adhere to proper security procedures.
• Notify management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer.
• Perform other cleaning-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Manufacturing cleaning responsibilities require 2–3 years of previous experience.
• Advanced skills, such as hard floor and carpet maintenance, require six months to one year of experience.
• Ability to speak and read English is a plus and may be required by some customers.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Pay

$20.83 – $24.50 per hour.
