GMG Intern
About the role
Greenspun Media Group is accepting interns in the areas of Journalism/Editorial and Graphic Design/Visual Media for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. College students currently enrolled in participating university programs with a junior or senior standing are invited to apply. Recent graduates of a relevant degree program (within one year of graduation) are also considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of news articles, features, and other editorial content
- Contribute to the design and layout of visual media projects
- Support the team in social media management and community engagement
- Research and gather information for stories and projects
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college program with junior or senior standing
- Recent graduates of a relevant degree program (within one year of graduation)
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in journalism, editorial, or graphic design
Qualifications
- College degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles
Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing
