As a General Merchandise Expert, you'll ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor, creating a consistent experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide assistance as needed while completing daily tasks.
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment (if certified) to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Change prices, set up and maintain merchandise, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn and apply operational procedures to support inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Support guest services, including backup cashier and digital fulfillment processes, while maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work in a safe manner, comply with safety policies, and report hazards.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds, climb ladders, and remain mobile throughout the shift.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Skills

• Experience with guest service fundamentals and supporting a guest-first culture.
• Knowledge of retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency.
• Proficiency in operating handheld scanners and other technology equipment.

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.50 USD per hour
