Glue Line

Responsibilities

• Handle long lengths of lumber.
• Understand and follow a Glue Report and procedures.
• Learn and operate clamp pressure, lay-up, and lockup processes.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues immediately.
• Operate a 35 lbs. air gun and handle hand tools.
• Utilize Lock-out/Tag-out procedures related to duties.
• Report potential machinery defects and safety risks immediately.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications

• Understand fundamentals of Lam Beam Lay-ups.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with a team.
• Work with limited supervision.
• Filling in on off shifts and overtime as required.
• Dedicated, self-motivated, and willing to work independently or as a team.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50+ pounds.
