About the role
The Global Supply Chain Analytics & Insights Scientist supports the development and application of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities across Global Supply Chain to help achieve strategic business objectives. This role will be focused on identifying opportunities for predictive insights, intelligent process automation, and AI-enabled business value creation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders across the end-to-end global supply chain to identify opportunities for data-driven improvement.
- Create the necessary workflows to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and business problems that can be addressed through AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
- Develop standardized analytics tools and frameworks that can be scaled across the global supply chain organization.
- Evaluate model outputs against business outcomes to ensure solutions deliver measurable value, usability, and operational relevance beyond statistical performance alone.
- Support adoption of AI capabilities by educating teams on relevant use cases, sharing practical applications, and helping build confidence in deployed tools.
- Contribute to initiatives involving advanced analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain (preferred) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ Years of experience in a supply chain-related function such as procurement, logistics, project management, supplier quality, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of the AI lifecycle, model evaluation metrics, and responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, and bias mitigation.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex analytical, algorithmic, and AI concepts in clear, business-friendly language.
- Python and Microsoft Analytics Tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Qualifications
