Global Supplier Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential suppliers globally based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Develop and implement supplier development initiatives to drive performance improvements.
• Lead Global Product Launch Process working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Quality) to address supply chain challenges to align on requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
• Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic sourcing recommendations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven results in finding new suppliers and building relationships.
• Technical understanding of engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain and analyze landed costs.
• Ability to find and develop new/existing suppliers.
• Must be able to travel 10% - 25% both domestically and internationally.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience, education, and geographical location.
