Global Study Leader
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Global Study Leader to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of global Phase I–IV clinical trials, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, cross-functional coordination, and timely study execution. The Global Study Leader will partner closely with clinical operations, study teams, and senior stakeholders to keep programs aligned, on track, and compliant. This is an important leadership role for someone who can drive strategy, resolve issues quickly, and ensure high-quality trial progress across a global environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $210,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Ensure operational excellence in study delivery while overseeing trial processes
- Delegate tasks effectively within the study team
- Lead global Phase I–IV clinical trial implementation and management
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings for trial alignment
- Act as an escalation point for timely issue resolution
- Develop and track clinical trial strategies and progress reports
- Oversee the Trial Master File and serve as a subject matter expert for clinical operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of clinical research experience, including 3 years in clinical operations leadership roles
- Strong project management skills demonstrated through managing global, multi-center clinical trials
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical trial electronic systems
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to influence at senior levels within a cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
