Global Strategic Events Assistant Director
About the role
The EY Global Strategic Events and Experience team is seeking an Assistant Director to join the team. This role designs and delivers the brand experience for clients attending EY Events and externally projects the best of the EY brand.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the brand experience for clients attending EY Events
- Create a consistent brand experience through all facets of the events
- Ensure brand sign off processes are adhered to across the whole event
- Mentor junior personnel on the strategic events and experiences team to ensure consistent and leading-edge brand experience
- Manage and drive forward the design and delivery of event related technology including complex and detailed registration sites and event apps
- Work closely with Legal, Procurement and Independence to ensure compliance for all events
- Seek connections across all of BMC to bring the best of EY to life
- Provide onsite support to manage various external vendors and agencies to ensure consistent delivery for their own events and supporting their colleagues
Requirements
- Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex event projects at a global level
- Significant experience of delivering brand, marketing and communications projects in global organizations
- Experience managing diverse teams
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience of delivering multiple events on a global basis
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders, time zones and priorities effectively
- Ability to navigate through change and manage ambiguity including cultural awareness
Qualifications
- Strategic brand, marketing and communications expertise, including global event design and delivery experience, including third party event management and consultation eg: non-proprietary, sponsored events
- High level of influencing and networking skills
- Experience of delivering multiple events on a global basis
- Ability and willingness to be able to travel

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,600 to $204,600.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
