Global Sourcing Intern

Intern Position Summary
The Global Sourcing Intern will work directly with Sourcing personnel across Oatey's organization. They will be involved in both direct and indirect sourcing activities and projects, supporting negotiations, supplier management, and cost savings initiatives.
Expectations & Accountabilities
- Support administrative tasks such as New Item Set-up Sheets, Quality Feedback management, Trade Agreements updates, Purchase requisition support, and Purchase Order creation
- Collect and analyze spend data for improved reporting
- Organize data for Direct and Indirect RFQ projects
- Review Direct and Indirect Sourcing processes and recommend improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- Strong analytical skills
- High competency level with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated high initiative
Compensation
The compensation range for the position is $20.00 USD hourly, with a target cash profit sharing that is determined by experience and review of internal talent.
