Global Senior Procurement Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Global Senior Procurement Director to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This leader will guide a globally distributed procurement function with a focus on alignment, consistency, and strong stakeholder partnership. The role will shape the procurement strategy and operating model across regions while balancing standardization with local business needs. In addition, this position will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and help drive transformation, supplier performance, and process improvement in a complex global environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Pay

Compensation: $210,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed procurement team with a focus on collaboration
• Partner with stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive procurement strategy
• Implement a standardized procurement operating model while considering regional needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by providing strategic recommendations
• Drive initiatives to enhance processes and supplier performance
• Build relationships across global regions to navigate complex organizations
• Lead change management efforts to support smooth transitions during transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 12+ years of progressive procurement experience
• Proven experience leading global procurement in complex environments
• Understanding of global procurement models with success in standardization
• Experience with large technology organizations or service providers preferred
• Demonstrated success in procurement transformation initiatives
• Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to build credibility across diverse stakeholder groups
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
