Global Security Operations Center Manager

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the GSOC, ensuring the team provides timely, accurate, and effective security monitoring, incident response, intelligence support, escalation management, and operational coordination. This role serves as a key operational leader within the GSOC and is responsible for maintaining a high-performing, resilient, and collaborative team environment. The manager will oversee daily GSOC operations, support both local and remote team members, drive operational consistency, and ensure established processes, procedures, and standards are followed. The GSOC Manager will work closely with GSOC Senior Management and other security leadership to support the overall objectives of the GSOC, identify operational opportunities, address emerging risks, and ensure the organization is prepared to respond effectively to security events and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key support partner to Senior Management in the oversight of the overall GSOC organization.
• Manage the daily operations and activities of the GSOC to ensure continuous and effective workload distribution.
• Ensure GSOC personnel consistently follow established procedures, protocols, and operational standards.
• Monitor the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of security monitoring, reporting, intelligence, and incident response activities.
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and resiliency.
• Ensure appropriate escalation of security incidents, threats, and critical events to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain operational readiness and ensure the team can effectively respond to emerging and evolving security threats.
• Provide direct leadership, direction, and performance management to local GSOC personnel.
• Work with GSOC Sr. Manager to establish clear expectations, priorities, and accountability for team members.
• Ensure the local team maintains a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and operational discipline.
