About the role
The Global Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of Sanofi's products throughout their lifecycle. This includes monitoring adverse events, managing regulatory submissions, and maintaining compliance with global safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the global safety database
- Monitor and report adverse event trends
- Manage regulatory submissions related to safety data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety
- Ensure compliance with international safety guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmacology, toxicology)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical safety or related field
- Experience with regulatory requirements and reporting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles and practices
- Experience with electronic case file systems (e.g., EudraVigilance)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with pharmacovigilance software (e.g., VigiBase)
- Strong attention to detail
