Global Safety Medical Director, Hematology Oncology

This role supports clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategy and direction for pharmacovigilance activities
• Lead Safety Analysis Team (SAT) and Global Safety Team (GST)
• Prepare and review safety sections for regulatory filings
• Validate safety signals and coordinate safety signal assessments
• Collaborate as a safety expert within cross-functional teams
• Develop Core Safety Information and risk management plans
• Ensure inspection readiness and manage travel for the role

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited medical or surgical residency or relevant clinical experience
• Expertise in Hematology Oncology therapeutic area
• Experience with product safety in the biopharmaceutical industry or regulatory agency
• Leadership experience driving safety profiles in cross-functional teams
