Global Real Estate: Design and Construction, Vice President

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the construction industry and manage projects of various scales, ranging from $50k to $100M.
• Manage and support project managers in their local market.
• Manage and are accountable for project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Monitor build progress, overseeing finance and ensuring project quality.
• Report and manage risks.
• Meet with clients, stakeholders and GRE leaders to report on project progress.
• Instill a sense of urgency in your project teams.
• Communicate exceptionally – both verbal and written.
• Strive to make strategic decisions and provide leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions.
• Balance financial management responsibilities—develop budgets, monitor costs, and adhere to schedules—while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree and 8+ years of work experience in construction management.
• Excellent oral and written, presentation & communication skills and a self-starter who delivers exceptional project management skills.
• Strong ability to work with clients at all levels of the organization.
• Strong proficiency in compiling and presenting written project correspondence to executive leadership.
• Experience and knowledge of business processes and procedures, applications, workflow, and planning.
• Strong working knowledge of full MS Office suite, with excellent financial modeling/management skills in Excel.
• Availability to travel within their market as needed to visit project sites.
• Ability to rent a car as needed.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Preference for degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or Business.
• Working in Real Estate or Project Management experience preferred.
