About the role

Eaton Electrical Division seeks a Product Manager to develop and drive the strategy and execution for digital connectivity solutions within the Distributed IT (D-IT) organization. The role can be based in Woodridge, IL, Raleigh, NC, or Asheville, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the digital connectivity product category, including product development initiatives and marketing programs to achieve growth in orders, revenue, and profitability.
  • Support the execution of short-term and long-term product line objectives, including sales targets, pricing strategy, and margin performance.
  • Direct and support new product development and introduction activities for connectivity hardware, firmware, and software offerings.
  • Serves as the business owner for cybersecurity considerations across the digital connectivity portfolio, partnering with engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to translate security findings into product priorities, remediation decisions, and lifecycle actions.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and manage the full product lifecycle, including enhancements and product transitions.
  • Participate in product line financials, including forecasting and performance to plan.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, IT, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Represent the product line in internal and external discussions related to product capabilities and roadmap direction.
  • Serves as the primary business owner for digital connectivity in the NAM region and partners cross-functionally to ensure globally consistent execution and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Product Management or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with UPS systems, connectivity products, or related technologies

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
  • Demonstrated track record supporting product line growth
  • Understanding product development processes or stage gate methodologies
  • Experience with SAP, Office 365, Power BI, and CRM tools such as Salesforce

Skills

  • Strong communicator and relationship-builder
  • Ability to drive process improvement and support execution of product initiatives
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented with strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel up to 25%

Benefits

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
