Global Product Content Lead

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain core product content requirements, identify content gaps, and help build action plans for both new and existing products.
  • Support the annual product content roadmap by translating marketing strategy into practical content initiatives delivered on schedule.
  • Create, refine, and approve product content for base and variant groupings using eCommerce-first best practices.
  • Develop accurate, consistent, and engaging content across product attributes, written copy, imagery, video, and marketing materials.
  • Partner with marketing, technical, and commercial teams to shape value propositions, claims, and customer-facing messaging.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and marketing operations to align campaigns with the overall content plan.
  • Provide guidance to global teams to support strong local execution and content consistency across markets.
  • Coordinate with digital asset management teams to ensure content is properly loaded, compliant, and aligned with internal standards.
  • Lead complex content projects, manage timelines and stakeholders, and support readiness milestones for new product introductions and updates.
  • Work with external vendors and internal partners on multimedia content and campaign execution while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Ensure content meets accessibility and global standards and supports localization for worldwide rollout.

Requirements

  • Experience in content marketing, product content, or a related marketing discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working with cross-functional, global, and matrixed teams.
  • Ability to turn technical or complex information into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
  • Knowledge of product information management and digital asset management practices.
  • Understanding of product data, taxonomy, attributes, enriched content, and digital shelf optimization.
  • Working familiarity with SEO and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a practical approach to balancing quality and speed.
  • Demonstrated accountability and ownership in delivering results.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.

Skills

  • Experience supporting product launches, lifecycle updates, or global content readiness initiatives.
  • Background in eCommerce-first content strategy or digital shelf performance improvement.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and funnel-based content development.
  • Exposure to campaign planning, content governance, or brand standards management.
  • Experience working with multimedia assets and external creative or production vendors.
  • Data-informed mindset with an interest in measuring and improving content performance.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a continuous-improvement approach to content development.
  • Comfort working across time zones and with distributed stakeholders.
