- Drive the ECP to S/4 migration and Payroll Simplification initiatives as subject matter expert, collaborating with IT, Finance, and cross-functional teams to modernize systems and reduce operational complexity
- Develop and maintain standardized payroll procedures and compliance frameworks for each country, staying current with evolving State, Federal, local, and international payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing payroll team through cross-training programs, knowledge transfer initiatives, and continuous professional development to reduce legacy system dependency and strengthen team capability
- Oversee payroll operations including quarterly reconciliations, involuntary deductions processing, benefits and tax deductions, wage verifications, and ad-hoc reporting; resolve discrepancies between HRIS and accounting systems to ensure data accuracy
- Manage critical payroll administration functions including Blue Marble system administration, ECP issue resolution and testing, annual increases and bonuses processing, year-end reviews, PTO liability reporting, and workers' compensation management for Australia
- Participate in strategic initiatives and steering committees (Bi-Weekly Steer-Co, Cost Center Project, SSO Blue Marble, Tax Cleanup, M&A integrations) to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency across the global payroll function
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration within TELUS Agriculture while actively partnering with the global community to align payroll operations with broader organizational goals
