Job Description
The Operational Excellence IE Director leads the company’s global Industrial Engineering activities, collaborating with local IE leaders to drive manufacturing excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness through the implementation of best known methods and systems. This role is responsible for identifying bottlenecks in every Fab and driving OEE improvements to enhance productivity, cycle time, and on-time delivery to customers. Additionally, the Director focuses on establishing standardized analytical models across the organization specifically for planning, KPI tracking, and WIP management. This role is responsible for managing the corporate IE directors' forum, leading and managing cross-functional global projects for OEE improvement, budget control and savings, improved WIP management, improved ergonomic and better operator efficiency, CAPEX management, setting global procedures for better operational management and monitoring compliance, leading corporate capacity management programs, driving manufacturing excellence through benchmark studies, being uncompromisingly passionate about solving complex problems using methods and data, being curious and striving for excellence in everything you do, and having the experience to lead global cross-functional teams in a dynamic and changing environment.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering degree required but Master's degree preferred
- Industrial engineering expert, extensive experience in semiconductor environment
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Wide experience in manufacturing and operations management techniques required
- Experience in optimization, tool modeling and performance metrics preferred
- Ability to communicate with external and internal multi-cultural stakeholders
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Science (scheduling/dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull system, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)
- High analytical skills and data-driven
- Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to attend to details while keeping big picture in mind
Compensation
$200,000 - $220,000
